The Communities of the Soil project are going through new and exciting phases. After a 7 month period of community consultations, conversations and visits, the project has moved into “broad brushstrokes design” with participants writing and drawing what they would like to see around themes of “food growing”, “organisational models”, “sanctuary, belonging and wellbeing”.

Black History Month was originally founded to recognise the contributions that people of African and Caribbean backgrounds have made to the UK over many generations. Now, Black History Month has expanded to include the history of not just African and Caribbean people but black people in general.

Our Grand BAME business annual gala awards is created to be a respected establishment that highlights the great work of Black, Asian, and other Minority Ethnic businesses and entrepreneurs achieve daily in Plymouth and its surrounding area. It is centered to meet this need, recognise, celebrate, reward the success and commend improved business for BAME communities.
